We need to export ‘COA Mixture’ to earn more foreign exchange- Freddie Blay declares

The Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon. Freddie Blay has challenged the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Centre Of Awareness (COA), Professor Ato Duncan to target the international market with their rebranded COA Mixture products.
The Former Member of Parliament for Ellembelle Constituency on the ticket of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) made these comments during the inauguration ceremony of COA Mixture formerly known as COA FS due to the fracas the organization had with the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
It can be recalled that the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) in the midst of the search for the cure for the COVID-19 pandemic,  questioned the efficacy of COA FS immune booster which many thought was an antidote to the coronavirus infection and it’s related symptoms.
Hon. Freddie Blay disclosed to Kastle FM 90.3MHz that the COA Mixture products must be innovative through research in order to be attractive to the international market so as to earn foreign exchange for the country.
He remarked “We thank God that finally COA Mixture is back onto the market again. It’s extremely important for the Centre Of Awareness and the Food and Drugs Authority to work collectively to enhance and safeguard the health of the citizenry.
“I’m challenging the CEO and staff of this great organization to be innovative through research so that you can target the international market and by so doing helping the country to earn foreign exchange from the exports of the COA Mixture products.
He concluded “As a party which is known for its unflinching support to the private sector and as a government which has proven beyond reasonable doubt that we believe in the development of the private sector would do anything lawful to help this organization to become a success.”
