We’ll use all our might and power to protect the ballot box – John Dumelo defends ‘Do or Die’ mantra

Popular actor and politician, John Dumelo has given an indepth analysis of the ‘Do or Die’ statement made by former President Mahama at a radio session during his ‘Thank You’ tour.

The multiple award-winning movie star disclosed in an interview with Amansan Krakye that the statement called for all efforts to be made to avoid changing the outcome of the elections.

He opined “I think the only thing he meant was that look we have to be very vigilant at the polling station on the 7th of December, 2024.

“Because elections are won at the polling station so we should ensure that we are vigilant to avoid any malpractices,” he stated on Kastle FM.

“To use all our might and power to protect the ballot box so that nobody will cheat us since we don’t also want to cheat anybody,” John Dumelo added.

He concluded “We didn’t come to cheat to change the outcome of the election and we won’t allow anyone to also cheat us so I think that’s what he meant”.

Former President John Dramani Mahama is fighting off claims that his recent comments may be a prediction of violence in the next general elections and says his utterance has been misconstrued.
