The philanthropist, and media entrepreneur, said this in an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on Cape Coast based Kastles FM. He lauded President Akufo-Addo for listening to the voice of the people by decreasing the size of his government. He admonished the new appointees to come out with new spirit and fighting strategies to make things easier for the New Patriotic Party in the near future.

According to him: The new Appointees should shun practices that will give the government and the party bad press in the discharge of their duties; bad press gives birth to bad leadership which may lead to failure.
‘They should not see this appointment as an opportunity to stardom but an opportunity for them to leave behind a good lasting legacy that Ghanaians will not forget.

‘This appointment is an opportunity for them to serve the people of the country in their respective capacities with humility and integrity’. Further, he urged them to always respect the people with the mandate to make and unmake governments. ‘It’s my humble plea that all ministerial nominees and those who will be lucky to catch the President’s eye treat the Ghanaian people with dignity, not disdain. They should be guided that political power resides with those that cast the vote, and not those who are appointed’. He said.

He insisted that the success of every government depend largely on the character and behaviour of appointees towards the people they come in contact with. They should know they are only holding their respective positions in trust of the Ghanaian people.
