Kastle FM to hold maiden edition of ‘AsankaMu’ Special in Cape Coast

Kastle FM, a commercial radio station located at Johnston street, Cape Coast which is a subsidiary of FED Kastle Multimedia Limited is set to hold the maiden edition of ‘AsankaMu’ Special at the Jubilee Park.

The event which is scheduled to happen on the farmer’s day holiday which is Friday 6th of November, 2020 is aimed at feeding over 1,000 people with free indigenous Ghanaian meals.

As part of the efforts of Kastle FM 90.3MHz to blend our tradition with style, AsankaMu Special is aimed at rewarding the hard work of our farmers and also create an opportunity for our listeners to socialize, release stress and have fun.

The event is scheduled to start at 9am and close at 9pm with variety of activities including stage performances by talented mainstream and emerging artistes from Central Region.

With the slogan ‘All you need is your Asanka’ the show is bent on reminiscing those days when our forefathers used to eat in the earthenware bowl locally known as Asanka.

The indigenous foods to be served at the event are fufu, banku, kokonte, omutuo with various soups accompanied with meat, fish and offals. The event day will also be used to share messages on the need for peaceful and violent-free election 2020. All COVID-19 protocols will be strictly observed.
