Ghana movie industry has collapsed but I’m hopeful it’ll bounce back very soon – John Dumelo

Celebrated Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has disclosed that the local movie industry has collapsed but he’s hopeful it will bounce back very soon.

Speaking on Cape Coast’s Kastle FM in an interview with Amansan Krakye, the award-winnig movie star said that he strongly believes that Ghanaians will soon start enjoying our local movies again.

“The movie industry has gone down a little bit but I’m hopeful it would bounce back again,” John Dumelo told the host of Kastle Drive.

He added “So that’s not really a problem I know that definitely going forward our movie industry will come back on it’s feet for us to enjoy Ghanaian movies again”.

John Dumelo who studied Civil Engineering at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has acted in several films reiterated that he’s still actively doing movies.

“Still I’m actively into acting movies and I do get movie roles,” he remarked.

Recently, popular Ghanaian movie director, Frank Fiifi Gharbin has expressed that he was very shocked to hear from the herbalist that his condition is spiritual and not just a normal leg illness.
