UEFA has prohibited the Bavarians from wearing their red home shirts in Europe’s top club competition this season.

The governing body of European football has taken issue with the dark numbers on the red jersey, arguing that they do not provide sufficient contrast for spectators either in the stands or watching on television, which is believed to breach visibility regulations.
