Teach your dreadlocks kids at home if you can’t comply with rules at Achimota school – Counselor Lutterodt fumes

Controversial marriage counselor, Cyril George Lutterodt well-known as Counselor Lutterodt has said he totally agree with the stance of Achimota school not to admit students with dreadlocks and it should not be seen as human rights infringement.

“You have been placed in a school and the school says your outlook is not acceptable to the rules of the school. This is not against somebody’s human rights, if you can’t be among them and do what is acceptable then go to where you will be accepted,” he fumed.

There has been a backlash from several quarters against the school’s decision, after it defied a Ghana Education Service (GES) directive to re-admit students with dreadlocks, with human rights groups describing the situation as discriminatory.

“If we allow such people tomorrow someone will say I’m a man but I do wear skirts and so what the guys are wearing as school uniform, he’ll prefer to wear a skirt and can we stop the person,” he justified.

“There are things that you can’t change so Ghanaians let us think progressively. Someone says he’s a child belonging to some gods of the sea so he’s a rastafarian and if we can’t accept that person in our school then that’s it, if you like go and establish a school for him or teach him at home,” he added.

“But me I’m not happy that GES says he should be admitted, the law must stand tall and if not so we’ll find ourselves in trouble someday,” he told Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast.
