Masturbation is a mental deficiency but not a sin against God – Counselor Lutterodt declares

Popular radio and TV relationship expert, Counselor Lutterodt born Cyril George Carstensen Lutterodt says masturbation is a mental deficiency which is the beginning of madness but not a sin against God as some pastors proclaim in their preaching.

“Masturbation is a mental deficiency and the beginning of madness because you can’t tickle yourself and laugh. So if you can stimulate yourself which is called masturbation is not a sin but it leads you to mental deficiency and you lose your original self,” he said.

Talking about whether masturbation is a sin against God or not during an interview with Kastle FM’s Amansan Krakye, Counselor Lutterodt said masturbation reduces the number of years you’ve been given on earth because you lose the natural taste of your sexual desire.

He added “So basically it’s not a sin but it reduces the number of years God gave you as a human being on this earth because right now you control your sexual desire.

“Instead of another man to touch you so that you get wet and well lubricated and your libido goes up now you only touch yourself which is a mental problem,” he remarked.

Counselor Lutterodt is famously known for his controversial thoughts as a relationship communicator and in 2017 he cited the Ashanti people as the people who masturbate the most among the ethnic groups in Ghana.

“So you lose the taste of a sexual drive for a man. So anybody listening to me masturbation is not just a sin but it destroys your sexual drive,” he told the host of Kastle Drive.

He concluded “Any sexual immorality does not affect God but is a sin against your own body. So anyone doing it should stop, it’s a bad thing to do because masturbation is not good.”
