My business ventures would’ve collapsed if I wasn’t involved with their daily routines – Mzbel reveals

Entrepreneur and business owner, Mzbel known in real life as Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah has told Amansan Krakye the difficulties involved with managing a business venture in Ghana.

“It’s extremely difficult to manage a business venture in Ghana I must be honest. But if you create businesses that you personally enjoy doing, even though it might be difficult, you can manage to do it in a certain way,” she said.

She added “However, if you open a business venture that you don’t have much knowledge into how it operates, trust me it would collapse.

“When I started my restaurant, I didn’t have much knowledge into it, so if not for my boldness the business would have collapsed,” she revealed.

Speaking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, Mzbel who owns BelJam Records, BelEye Media, Bela’s Pub & Restaurant, and BelKids Playground said she’s learnt to be involved with the daily running of her businesses.

She continued “I learnt about how it works and everyday I try to spend time with the workers to see what’s happening whilst also talking to my customers.

“You’d do all these and if you stay away for even a week you’d come back and realize that your business has been collapsed totally,” Mzbel told the host.

She ended “I have to be there every time so it’s not easy at all managing businesses or your own career but if you are more involved with the day to day running of the businesses you’d definitely succeed”.
