This was revealed at a press conference to officially announce the ancestral transition of Nana Kodwo Kru II, the Omanhen of British Komenda and President of Komenda Traditional Council.

The Acting President told Kastle FM’s Amansan Krakye that in order not to destabilize the peace in the area proper measures have been put in place to install a new Omanhen of British Komenda.

“Development is critical and anybody who doesn’t want development is quite surprising,” Nana Kwahin V said.

He continued “But the first aspect of development has to do with peace and any town that has peace is a free place to develop.

He added “Another aspect is for us to get money in our pockets and our late Chief has done a lot to get jobs here for the youth.

“So it shouldn’t happen that the peace of Komenda will be disturbed after the demise of our Chief through violence,” he remarked

He revealed, “That’s why I move with Obaahemaa and Abusuapanyin to ensure that the development we seek isn’t destabilized with chieftaincy dispute”.
