DON’T ALLOW YOURSELVES IN SHORT-CHANGE FOR PEACE- BISHOP OF PORTERSVILLE CHURCH INT. TO THE YOUTHS

The bishop and founder of Porttersville Church international and also UN ambassador for peace, H.E Bishop Dr. Samuel Owusu has stated that, peace is very precious commodity which ought to be valued at all times.
Citing the recent killing and military brutality at Ashiaman in the greater Accra region, bishop Owusu noted that, life ought to be valued hence condemning the killing of the young military officer and advising that, instant justice need to be avoided in the country.
Storming Cape Coast for three days program to impact the next generation with divine teachings, the bishop first visited the Central regional police commander (DCOP) Alexander Kwami Amenyo to have a brief discussion and self-introduction.
He however seized the opportunity to congratulate and lauded the police command for their role in maintaining peace and reducing crime rate in the region, noting that, central region can be described as one of the most peaceful regions in Ghana through the effort of the police service and adherence of maintaining law and order by the citizenry.
Meanwhile the Central regional police commander (DCOP) Alexander Kwami Amenyo also expressed his appreciation to bishop Dr. Samuel Owusu for his role in promoting of peace across the continent and raising the flag of Ghana high.
(DCOP) Alexander Kwami Amenyo however promised the police effort to do their best to see to it that, law and order is at all times maintained to promote peace in the region.
Bishop Samuel Owusu on his side prayed for the police hierarchy in the country and the region for divine direction inn discharging of their duties and asked God for wisdom for the police personnel in the region.
H.E Bishop Dr. Samuel Owusu later paid a curtesy call on the paramount chief of Oguaa tradition area, Osaberimba Kwesi Atta II at Amintsimaze palace and presented to the paramountcy with some gift and declared his intensions in the Cape Coast metropolis.
During the visit, H.E Bishop Dr. Samuel Owusu lauded the chiefs and elders in the traditional area for co-existence and maintaining peace in Cape Coast.
He however used the occasion to advise the youths in the metropolis and the region at large not to allow themselves to be used by any politician to foment trouble prior to the up coming general election in 2024 noting that, preaching about peace now is a sure outcome of peaceful election in 2024 and the years ahead.
Osaberimba Kwesi Atta II the paramount chief Oguaa traditional council on behalf of the paramountcy and the people thanked the bishop for the visit and his involvement in promoting peace and stated that, the paramountcy will always stand by him on his course and asked the Cape Coasters to always maintain peace for the development of the region.
Thanking the Nananom for their warmth welcome and acceptance, H.E Bishop Dr. Samuel Owusu prayed for the paramount chief for God’s grace and divine wisdom to rule his subject as God gifted Solomon and prayed for the development of the traditional area as it has been deprived of major developmental project from the central government.
